American Federation of Television and Radio Artists

American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). The purpose of this actors' union is to represent actors in radio and television, much like the Screen Actors Guild does for movies. They negotiate the amounts for standard contracts, residual payments, unemployment benefits and the like for their members.
