- A series of raids under the Terrorism Act 2000 in Manchester leads to the arrest of 10 people. (BBC)
- Ten individuals (of Iraqi Kurds or North Africans) are arrested by UK police on suspicion of violating the Terrorism Act 2000. The arrests are made in dawn raids in Greater Manchester and other parts of the North and Midlands.
