Celebrity Centre is a Church of Scientology organization designed to cater to the schedules and needs of celebrities. It was established in 1970. The British spelling of the word is used rather than the American, "center". Their motto is:Real celebrities deserve the best in staff and service and image [1].The organization delivers the services which the Church of Scientology delivers to "celebrities or promising newcomers". [2] The Church's policy defines celebrities as:
"Any person important in his field or an opinion leader or his entourage, business associates, family or friends with particular attention to the arts, sports and management and government". [3]

In Europe the Church has Celebrity Centres in London, England, Florence, Italy, Vienna, Austria, Paris, France and Duesseldorf, Germany.
Effectiveness
Scientology has received media attention because some celebrities have spoken of their religion. The Church of Scientology maintains a website with attestations from some celebrities. Celebrity Attestations In a television interview, actor John Travolta spoke of the Church's Tone Scale as being helpful to an actor. Other people have mentioned that the Church's Study Technology can be helpful for an actor in memorizing his lines.
