Economic Supreme Court
From Wikinfo
The Economic Supreme Court is envisaged to be a fourth independent power in the constitution next to the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches. Creation of it thus requires a constitutional amendment.
Above common three branches of a democracy are known as the Trias Politica by Montesquieu. This old concept of democracy still allows those three powers to adopt economic policies that are detrimental to the fundamental needs of the population.
The economic history since 1900 shows two world war 's, the Great Depression and since 1970 there is the Great Stagflation, related to the issue of the tax void. In the years ahead there are the challenges of overpopulation and the environment.
With an Economic Supreme Court, Parliament would retain the right to state the policy and to allocate the budget, but it would lose the power to manipulate the information used in the policy making process.
