Field (physics)
From Wikinfo
In physics, a field is an assignment of a quantity to every point in space. Field theory distinguish between scalar fields and vector fields.
Temperature, at any given point, can be measured in scalars. electric or magnetic force, at any given point, can be measured in vectors.
