This article is about flavor, the sensory impression. There is another article on Flavor (particle physics) for the particle property.

Flavor (British, flavour) refers to the sensory impression of a food or other substance. It is determined by the three senses of taste, olfaction (smell), and the so-called trigeminal senses, which detect chemical irritants in the mouth and throat.
