Frederick C. Copleston

Father Frederick C. Copleston, (1907 - 1994) was a Jesuit priest and:
- Author of an influential nine-volume "History of Philosophy"
- Took part in a 1948 BBC Radio debate with Bertrand Russell on the existence of God
- Also took part in another famous debate, this one with A. J. Ayer on logical positivism and the meaningfulness of religious language
