Grupo Montparnasse

Grupo Montparnasse was an association of Chilean artists who had gone to work and study in the Montparnasse district of Paris, France, after the turn of the 20th century. The manifestation of this group was first evidenced through a 1923 exhibition organized by Luis Vargas, in Santiago, Chile.
