Luminous intensity

Luminous intensity is a physical property that is measured in candelas, in a given direction, of a source that emits monochromatic radiation of frequency <math>540 \times 10^{12}</math> hertz and that has a radiant intensity in that direction of <math> \frac{1}{683}</math> watt per steradian.
