The Majestic Diner on Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia is a 24 hour diner that has never closed since 1929, the neon lit slogan states Food That Pleases, and that it has for generation on generation of nightowls of every description. The open face roast beef plate is legendary, one legend being that Al Capone ordered food from Majestic to his room while detained in the hotel across the street for income tax evasion in May 1930, before being sent to Atlanta State Penitentiary.
