Born in Bolivia 1958 from a Swiss father Guy A Chamot, and Jewish mother Tehila Elazar. Served in the United Sates Navy from 1975-1978. Became naturalized American in 1976, Newport Rhode Island USA.He also has a superb extended family in Dr. Anna Uhl Chamot, and Alain Chamot. Marc Chamot has a wonderful wonderful daughter in Helene Annette Chamot, who is 12 years old.--Marcchamot 22:49, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
