Mouseover

Mouseover is action or verb, used to indicate moving one's mouse pointer connected to a computer mouse over any screen object. Many such objects which are active links or images, or over some other GUI elements or widgets capable of performing an action, such as an icon or command button, may allow a pop-up of descriptive text to appear. The mouseover has become popular and standardized as a way of improving the accessibility, and therefore the usability, of webpages and websites, as well as making them more more sophisticated and powerful as interactive tools.
