Peter Tracy was one of the few American servicemen involved in the Falklands War. His service record includes a collaboration with the SAS in the May 14th raid on Pebble Island at the Falklands, where the Argentine Navy had taken over a grass airfield for FMA IA 58 Pucará light ground attack aircraft and T-34 Mentors, the raid destroyed the aircraft there. He was also present at the Battle of Goose Green (28–29 May 1982). After the war, he attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a dual degree in Communications and English.
