Petro Grigorenko

Petro G. Grigorenko, October 16, 1907 - February 27, 1987, born in a village in the Donbas region in the Ukraine was a major general in the Red Army of the Soviet Union. For most of his life he was a loyal communist, but after the death of Stalin began to question party policies. A thorn in the side of the political establishment, he was eventually exiled.
