Point of view

A point of view or viewpoint (abbreviated POV), is a perspective from which to view an object, or to view a topic, or to view information. It can mean:
- In literature, a point of view is the usage, stance, or related experience of the narrator. See point of view (literature).
- Articles are written from some point of view, they present content in a way that can be characterized. Wikinfo, Wikipedia and other wikis often create a collaberative point of view. Wikinfo's articles are written from a Sympathetic point of view, while Wikipedia's intent is to create a Neutral point of view within a single article.
- On a given topic, a point of view is a cognitive perspective. See perspective (cognitive).
