Poti (Samegrelo region of Western Georgia) is a city and one of three ports in the Republic of Georgia on the Black Sea coast. Ancient name of this city is Phasis. In Poti exists the State Theater, one of the Departments of the Institute of Geography of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Niko Nikoladze Museum, Academy of Phasisi, etc.
