Product (chemistry)
From Wikinfo
In chemistry, the product(s) is/are formed when the reactant(s), also known as Educt(s), react with each other by overcoming the activation energy of a chemical reaction. In a given chemical equation, the reactant is placed on the left side of the arrow and the product is placed to the right. A product is like the final substance after a chemical reaction between reactants. For example: Hydrogen and Oxygen react with each other to form water. So, in this case the reactants would be hydrogen and oxygen and the product would be water.
- Reactant(s) → Product(s)
The yield of the product(s) is partially ruled by Le Chatelier's principle.Template:Chem-stub
