Sechen Guwa (Chinese: 斯琴高娃; pinyin: Sīqín Gāowá) is a Chinese-Swiss actress of Mongol ethnicity. Her name "Сэцэн Гуа" means as Mongolian: The Wise Beautiful.

She first came into prominence in the 1982 film adaptation of Lao She's novel, Rickshaw Boy, where she played "Tigress" (虎妞) opposite Zhang Fengyi's Xiangzi. She won the Golden Rooster Award and Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actress that year.

Her works include Kangxi Dynasty and Full Moon in New York. She won the award for Best Actress at the 4th Hong Kong Film Awards for Homecoming.[1] In 2008, she won her second Best Actress in the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards for her role in The Postmodern Life of My Aunt.
