Deletionism

I hope to study this more in future; it seems like a major cause of Deletionist tendencies is the great quantities of mal-intentioned edits to WP. The systems that have evolved to fight the tide of spam and vandalism detract from resources to deal with well-intentioned edits which might be problematic. It is very hard to easily discern the true intent of an editor, and those with ill intentions continually improve their abilities to foster confusion.-kethd 10:50, 5 Feb 2007 (EST)
