CPOV here

Just a comment here. The first paragraph, and perhaps other sentences here, are not Sympathetic to the subject. This should be the SPOV article. The Criticism page is the appropriate place for criticism. - Nhprman 20:56, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I call it SPOV. If you'd know him, you'd call it ultra-SPOV. If however you don't think so, you're welcomed to edit it. I personally probably am too stuck in the subject, although I doubt it. Anyway, it's mostly NPOV in my opinion, but like I said, you're welcomed to edit it to make it more SPOV, I really don't know how I could make it any better. Anime addict 21:02, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
PS I know it's a little off-topic, but could you look on the discussion on my talk page Fred started and give your opinion? Anime addict 21:02, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
It includes phrases like "his path, methods, as well as the results left much to be desired." which is not too sympathetic. It's not a horrible example of POV, but it's there. He sounds like a rather disturbed character, but deserves SPOV in the main article. I will definitely look in on that discussion. Thanks. - Nhprman 22:20, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
I just went to try to edit out the CPOV material and cannot. There is too much. Phrases such as these are HOPELESSLY critical and not sympathetic:
  • "or moderator of an even mediocre anime forum"
  • "has singled out himself through his relentless efforts to do something worthwhile, or just to make a name for himself"
  • "his path, methods, as well as the results left much to be desired."
  • "In an amazing display of desperation..." (this is ridiculously critical)
  • "claiming he got spam from Manga-Anime"
  • "The resulting discussion is presumed to have been ridiculous at least"
I could co on and on, the rest of this seems like a blow-by-blow account of bannings and bad feelings on his part, which is nice, but not SPOV and not very enlightening. This is very biased, and all of the "presumed" words here imply you don't know for sure, which could be libelous. It's also very gossipy and specific to those Romanian forums. To rewrite this would mean cutting out all but the first line, and putting the rest (hopefully rewritten and verified) into the CPOV page, where it would certainly be more acceptable. As for the other page Fred commented on, I cannot see it now, since it's been deleted, but I hope it wasn't like this one. - Nhprman 22:38, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
How about I move it in a page with another title? Like "The uncut history of Rotaru" or something? I'd opt for a signed article really, but unless it's not "Hurricane Rotaru by Anime Addict" (and I don't know if it would be possible under the current policy), it won't do. I need to protect my privacy, many people (including Mangaboy and Rotaru) were threatened with physical beatings if they were ever caught, and some acts were actually gruesomely planned (fortunately not acted out), so I'll pass. Anime addict 23:01, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
That may be an excellent idea. Then again, Fred may say that it's too defamatory or gossipy and want it deleted. As I said, all of this may work on the Critical page just fine, but you have to pretend, when writing SPOV articles about people, that THEY or their friends are writing it. - Nhprman 00:35, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, he *was* welcomed to rewrite it, as long as he didn't just chop off pieces and left the text basically a blur. Speaking of, you could see in the history and try to make out something from his previous edit (aplustv was the user), but I don't guarantee you better material, just a lot less.
I was saying about renaming, because the other article would still be labeled, as one wishes, either NPOV or CPOV. Merging it with the criticism one would be troublesome, as it does not really reflect too much criticism in the way it's formulated. That's why this (hi)story, as in-between as it is, should need its own article. Than, he can come here and make it as fun and as pretty for himself as he wants it (presuming he won't blank out the criticism pages... again). Anime addict 01:03, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, I did see the blanking and that's inappropriate. The way to address problems and concerns is right here on the talk page. I'm torn about what to do about the main article, other than simply noting that he's a blogger and what his name is. I don't have the answer and I don't know the man, so I can't do an extensive and SPOV rewrite. More input from others would be helpful. - Nhprman 01:58, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

This article consist mainly of snarky gossip. It is hardly better than a typical Encyclopedia Dramatica entry. If someone blanked it, I can hardly say I blame them. Fred Talk 03:36, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Fred, I do see your point. The re-constituted article that Anime addict has created now is a short "just the facts" SPOV article. I reworked that a bit for form, and that is certainly a SPOV-worthy at this point. - Nhprman 00:32, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Rotaru's edit: Thank you that you have deleted this article. My image is now very bad bou , i will recover :-j dont worry.
