Two new Will Dockery-Henry Conley song-poems

I Met with Henry Conley downtown tonight to perform at The Loft, sometime after 11pm, since Henry had a fill-in gig at a hotel in Opelika, Alabama for Riley Yeilding who's at the folk fesival in Kerrville, Texas, we took the late show spot. Backed by Sam Phillips on bass, Kerry Lowe on drums, Gene Woolfolk, Jr. on flute and Brent Lindley joining Henry on guitars, we went through a few of the standards, Twilight Girl, Wobble and others. After all this, before we left, I said how about... and sang the chorus fragment that had just popped into my head, for Truck Stop Woman... anyway, we went over to Gene Woolfolk's house and wrote the song and another, Black and Blue Night. My question for Fred is, I'd like to post them here since I think the Wiki format would be excellent for editing... I can post them here if you can sign them for me, since I need to keep the copyrights on them. Let me know how to do this, if possible. Will Dockery 03:42, 29 May 2008 (EDT)

I doubt that would work out. Any copyright license used needs to provide for possible reuse by others, even if only non-profit. One thing you might do is to create a wiki on your home computer. Being open source is why we can be hosted by ibiblio. Fred Talk 05:10, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
Yes, I can see that... probably best to just link to them here in the usual way. I will look into the possibilty of getting a personal Wiki going, though. Will Dockery 05:26, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
