Telugu is the language of the people of state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is the second largest spoken language in India after Hindi. it is one of the Dravidian languages.

Telugu is one of the official languages of India. It is called "Italian of the East" because all words in Telugu end with a vowel sound.

In Telugu, the verb is conjugated for negation and interrogation, as well as tense. For example:

naaku telusu
I know
naaku telusaa
do I know?
naaku teliyadu
I don't know
naaku teliyadaa
don't I know?

The Telugu script is phonetic in nature. It appears quite similar to the Kannada language script. It is assigned Unicode codepoints: 0C00-0C7F (3072-3199).
