The Infinity Society is an independent, freedom-of-association, non-governmental organization scientific, spiritual and philosophic educational and networking organization, based in cyberspace (formerly in Wash., DC), whose main purpose is to promote deep philosophical ideas, and the mass awareness of the concept of infinity, with the concept of infinity's penultimate practical benefit in stimulating mass socio-psychological change, all in the hope of generating greater wisdom and public interest in philosophical thinking. It also has a semi-political purpose in seeking to promote non-violent conflict resolution and the application of non-violent means for social, economic and political change, and it serves to connect intellectuals, self-educated as well as academic, to one another. The society is listed at Idealist.org, Epistemelinks.com, and with WANGO.

It was founded in 1988 by Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo, Philosopher, Writer and Progressive Intellectual. Its base of operations was in Washington, DC until March, 2008. As of 2008 it has some 800 members worldwide, mostly innactive and by indirect association.
