Trait
From Wikinfo
In biology, a trait or character is a genetically inherited feature of an organism. The alleles for a "monogenetic" trait occupy the same locus on homologous chromosomes. If the alleles for a trait in a diploid organism are different, the trait of the "dominant" allele shows in the phenotype.
