My name is Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo and I try to live up to the ideals (principles, values, morals and ethics) of my intellectual predecessors, such luminaries as Baruch Spinoza, Albert Einstein and Mahatma Gandhi. As a scientifically- and spiritually-minded Philosopher I spend much of my daily life promoting my ideas concerning the need to popularize philosophical thinking, introspect, discourse and understanding. Of particular interest to me is my conviction (to others simply a theory) that the concept of infinity is the one most indispensable concept needed by anyone who truly seeks to become wise (i.e. open-minded, long-term-oriented and deep thinking, as opposed to ignorant, which is i.e. narrow-minded, short-term-oriented and shallow thinking), and that only when mass infinity-awareness is accomplished will we have the popular wisdom to use non-violent, democratic means to effect global policy on the environments and societies of our planet.

Regarding Wikipedia

My unpleasant and sometimes deeply disturbing experiences with Wikipedia go back almost two years now (thank goodness for Wikinfo). Recently a Wikipedia User who goes by Zoe (zoecomnena) went way off the edge and branded me an anti-Semite (I am a spiritual Jew of mixed Jewish and other ancestry, mostly Sephardic) and, as if that were not enough for her and her sinister cabal, also branded me a racist! Mind you, as a Philosopher I do not judge people on account of their ethnic or so-called racial background or profile. Only relatively uneducated people treat other fellow human beings differently purely on account of their ethnic or so-called racial background or profile. Fortunately enough, I have a number of good people, some of them very prominent intellectuals and professionals from highly reputable institutions of higher learning, who will always be there to vouch for my humanistic and anti-racist Point of View and overall progressive identity. So, allow me to give every decent Wikinfonian and guest this friendly warning: BEWARE OF WIKIPEDIA; which has been sabotaged over the years by an assortment of irresponsible and even dangerous people, some of whom have formed sinister cabals whose main purpose is to distort facts, figures and information in general. I suspect that there are at least three major sinister cabals, with one in particular having an anti-Semitic Neo-Con pseudo-Christian identity! After all, what better way to divide and conquer humanity than by confusing it, obfuscating things and re-writing history and politically sensitive encyclopaedic entries!!! So, having said that, I hope you will prefer to be at Wikinfo, which prefers to give people the benefit of the doubt and work on the premise that NO ORIGINAL CONTENT can easily be taken out of context and abused by those whose agenda is not clearly stated and whose identity is relatively anonymous and hidden. Also, in providing the partial identity of User Zoe it is out of concern that this person may have actually ruined the lives of innocent persons and in the hope that someone reading this will come forth with substantial personnal proof that this person is not without malice. To what ends? Perhaps I will write a book about the many dangers of Wikipedia and perhaps the public will read that book and put pressure on Wikipedia's policy decision-makers to make the necessary ammendments and provide some form of mechanism for sane administrative action.

My Philosophy In A Nutshell

The central theme of my own philosophy is anti-centralism, or Infinity; which to my way of thinking is the ultimate thought in the evolution of the human intellect and mind. I am convinced that one's worldview, and thus one's environmental and social stance, is directly formed by how well and how often one contemplates the idea of no beginning, no end to space-time-change in an infinite totality having an infinite number of sub-universes (i.e. Infinity)! While I will concede that we will never be able, as a species, to traverse space-time to reach another distant galaxy (mind you, our own is relatively infinite by the measure of our own dimensions of size and distance), let alone reach the perimeter at the furthest reaches of our own quasi-bubble-like sub-universe and go on into another of an infinite number of such sub-universes, the sense that we exist in a totality that is actually infinite is something I cannot deny.

On G-D

1.) We are not at the center of this sub-universe (there is no actual constant center), we are not alone as a life-form within our own Milky Way Galaxy, we are no more or less important or meaningful than any other species that eventually may be proven (through hard science) to exist in this galaxy of ours, and we are certainly not chosen by G-D. 2.) No G-D-ness could ever have created the infinite! For it is illogical to state that there is this Omni-Escent, Omni-Potent, Omni-Present Being that: a) would be able to create something out of nothing, c) to start doing so at any specific point in space-time and go on doing so for eternity, d) somehow be able to make all infinity and thereby arrive at infinity (infinity can never be arrivedwe are always already in it), and e) also be a personal G-D for each and every being that it is suggested G-D would have personally created (G-D is impersonal, albeit we can personalize our connection to G-D). An Omin-Escent, Omni-Potent, Omni-Present G-D is absolutely impossible! 3.) Nor is it logical to suggest that the totality of everything physical created out of nothing by G-D has a limit beyond which barrier nothing, not even an eternal emptiness, exists! My own definition of G-D is quite non-traditional, and one could readily argue that what I call G-D is not what is meant by the word G-D. I feel certain that G-D is the combined totality of all souls that inhabit all life-forms, flora and fauna, on this Earth and is the same essential, indestructible, eternal, non-physical Self-Being Existence as the G-Ds that exist on other worlds or that are travelling through space-time, even to the point (like drops of water) that they can totally coalesce! 4.) My G-D is spiritually perfect, pure and unconditional Love. My G-D did not create, could not create anything physical and cannot be destroyed or created by anything physical. Although, I have intuited that it may be possible that G-D-nesses can trigger sub-atomic Particle-Universes (non-chemical universes) into collapsing into a dense singularity that allows for the creation, via a Big Bang, into a Atomic-Universe (thus a chemical universe such as ours). 5.) All that is physical, that is matter, energy and plasma, is all that exists aside from G-D, but, unlike G-D, of which we are all soul-wise a part of, all physical entities have no sense of self-being or existence! 6.) G-D did, at some point in time before life began on Earth, come into contact with physical entities of plasma on this planet and was, through a certain mechanism that would mean that G-D has an aspect, however meek, of manipulative force, able to create the first, primary life-forms on this planet. And G-D has had an inestimable influence on the evolution of all life-forms and ecosystems. However, the physical aspects (entity amalgamates) of life are functionally imperfect, as is all that is physical (there is not perfect physical entity anywhere), and thus life, from its very inception, is imperfect. What then, you may ask, do I mean by perfect? Simply put, the perfect is either the G-D-part or Soul that ultimately is "who" we are (in the non-personality-awareness sense) and is also, at the same time, the combined Self-Being of G-D, but all physical entities are imperfect because they are: a) temporal and not eternal, b) approximations of ideals (no sphere is perfectly spherical...recent experiments in near-zero-gravity have shown this to be the case) and not in actual reality ideal, and c) unstable and subject to change (enthropy) by other physical entities or combined physical forces (such as the forces of radiation waves, weak and strong gravity waves, thermal and electro-magnetic forces, and sub-atomic particles and possibly strings). 7.) It is this very dichotomy of Soul within (and around) Physics that can never be physical and can never be destroyed by anything physical, that makes life so imperfect and prone to bodily (organism) pain and related mental (psychological) suffering! 8.)Finally, G-D wants to experience Life, but in entering into a direct connection with Physics G-D has no choice but to experience the imperfections, the pain(s) and suffering(s), that result from being within Physics and having to try to communicate and communionate (< another word I have had to create out of the base word communion) itself to itself (Soul to Soul). The meta-system or mechanism of this seemingly weird communication and communionation between a somewhat Singular Entity (G-D, the Combined Super-Soul of all Souls) that is also somewhat separate(divided) into individual Souls is something we can only speculate on. G-D is perfect, in of "It"-Self and all parts of G-D in temporal separation (Souls) are also perfect, and their "nature" is to communicate love and communionate in Love (Love being the essential nature of G-D)!

On Evil

Evil arises from the failure to always communicate and communionate in Love! G-D may or may not be able to manipulate Physics to create some kind of Super-Mind that is not dependent on a Physical Biological Brain-Body (this is a question I am currently working on and have only started to seriously ponder). What we call evil does not exist in the way which it is commonly understood to exist, but is ultimately un-intentional behavior on the part of life-forms, especially our fellow humans, that results from sickness of the brain-body and the brain-body's influence on the mind, including mental ignorance! Evil and its avatarial entity, the Devil, only exist as mental and mind-to-physics mechanisms, void of any sense of self-being and true self-sensing existence! In a sense, one might say, that Evil is the lack of truly intentional, i.e. Soul-(Love)directed, behavior! This view of Evil raises the question of responsibility and punishment. To my way of thinking we are only responsible for what we truly intended to do (which is always good), and therefor all wrong-doing (Evil) is a result of not being sufficiently responsible or intentional. Evil comes from illness, sickness and ignorance, and causes these same things in others! Good comes from emulating G-D-liness, from being sufficiently aware and thus sufficiently intentional in our communications and actions. Even so, we have no choice but to limit the harm of those who do great Evil by putting them into relative isolation and by trying to cure and heal them, just as we must also cure and heal the general society in which such Evil is prevalent! If by punishment we meant to add further harm, illness and sickness, to those who have unintentionally harmed others (which is the only way one does harm others), then we are no less Evil! If, however, punishment is making the Evil-doer aware of the harm, pain and suffering they have caused others, while also admonishing the society in which one became an Evil-doer, and providing the means to change, if possible, into a healthy person, then we are being true to our connection to G-D and thus to our G-D-ly essential nature! Of course, some persons are well beyond help (probably a small minority), given the degree to which they have become unhealthy, and it is with such persons that greater isolation from society-at-large becomes necessary (although I would put such persons the choice to be on a reservation-style prison, where they can share with others in their sick ways, or be put in absolute isolation). Whatever we call the absence of Love, whether we call it Evil, Sin or Sickness, we can never become a society of fulfilled and relatively happy people if we continue to personify Evil and the soul-less mechanism we call the Devil, and thereby impose our own insecurities (mental illness, sickness) on others.

My Ethics

My primary spiritual (i.e. ethical) directive thus reads as follows: ALWAYS SEEK TO DO UNTO ANOTHER/OTHERS AS THEY REALLY WANT TO BE DONE UNTO TO, OR DO NOT UNTO ANOTHER/OTHERS ANYTHING AT ALL! Unfortunately, one can't live up to this prime spiritual directive (or Golden Rule) at all times and to a degree of perfection (given the imperfect nature of life itself), but in truly seeking to do one's best one can be close to perfection! The traditional "Golden Rule" reads: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU, but this fails its own supposed intent, and is incorrect and dangerous, because, to put it simply, there are many things you mightlike having one do unto you that I would hate being done unto me! Even the Torah, the Ten Commandments and their 613 sub-commandments, can be interpreted in a manner that expresses this prime spiritual (i.e. ethical) directive.

The Torah: An Interpretation

When Moses (who I am convinced was also the same person as the Hebrew-Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten, as the writer and researcher Ahmed Osman has shown evidence for) came down from Mount Sinai holding the two tablets, upon which were inscribed The Ten Commandments, he was simply trying to educate his fellow Hebrews about the prime spiritual (ethical) directive of a G-D of Love. After all, to truly love another person is to respect their rights and wishes and never violate their trust and confidence in you! The Ten Commandments (The Torah) should best be understood as follows:

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me! Meaning: I am the unifying G-D of all living beings and life-forms on Earth, and there is no other true g-d, but the All Loving One which I AM. Do not substitute ME for lesser things, as True Love is the ultimate G-D.

2. Thou shalt not make any graven image...! Meaning: Do not seek communion (prayer) with anything, but only seek communion with ME, the G-D of Love.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of thy Lord in vain! Meaning: Do not in any way trivialize ME, the G-D of Love by thinking or speaking in a way that would mean that Love (the Combined Soul of All Souls) is in any sense inferior to anything or any other emotion.

4. Thou shalt keep the Sabbath Holy! Meaning: Unless circumstances do not permit it; avoid working or doing anything difficult and unpleasurable on at least one out of seven days, and preferably let the seventh day be a day shared by and with all your fellow humans. In a sense it also means; let there be a day, the seventh day, when you will remember that it took six distinct yet lengthwise equal periods of time for ME to evolve life into a species capable of "understanding ME", and after that WE all need to rest, relax and frolic together! Why seven days? Because that was a ratio that agricultural economies could observe approximatley one entire phase of the moon and also one entire rotation of the then observable seven heavenly bodies (i.e. the moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn and the Sun!), an observation that began in ancient Babylon, and the moon's phases were a way that our ancestors measured time between seasons! The day of moon-phase transition (change) was considered a day of rest!

5. Honour Thy Father and Thy Mother! Meaning: Do not bring shame upon those who have raised you by doing things that would make people angry at them for having done so, and, also, be respectful of them, for they have been around longer and know more about how to survive and live. Ofcourse, in the days of Moses this was almost always the actual truth. Today this commandment has lost some of its importance, unless ofcourse one thinks of it this way; be kind and respectful towards those who are older and wiser than you (not just, or necessarily, your own parents).

6. Thou shalt not commit murder! Unfortunately many have mis-translated from its original Hebrew context to mean "thou shalt not kill". Meaning: Do not take the life of someone who has not in any way seriously tried to take your life, for it is the ultimate opposite of Love to murder! Yet, you may kill any and all who you know for certain were about to murder you or those you Love.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery! Meaning: Do not threaten the life or lives of those you claim to Love by cheating on them and thereby endangering their welfare and the trust that is the basis of any marriage or other Loving relationship! It has nothing to do with truly mutually consensual sexual acts between a couple, married or not, and another individual, couple or group of individuals. Note: In the days of Moses there was a problem with fidelity, so he wanted at the very least that people observe poly-fidelity through honesty and respect.

8. Thou shalt not steal! Meaning: Do not endanger the lives and welfare of other persons by taking from them what is not rightfully yours or even that which you do not even need but upon which their very lives may depend on!

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour! Meaning: Do not endanger the lives and welfare of other persons by falsely accusing or testifying against them in front of others.

10.Thous shalt not covet thy neighbours...! Meaning: Do not even wish to have anything or be with anyone which is not your or who is not meant to be with you.

Clearly all these restrictions are meant to protect the rights of others and thereby compel people to Love one another and seek help from one another by Loving means, which are respectful and compassionate!

My Philosophical Predecessor

The closest philosophy to my own as regards ethics is that of Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677), who it is supposed was a pantheist. As I have read his works I have come to the conclusion that Spinoza was not a strict pantheist, but had a concept of G-D that was self-contradicting at times and which would suggest that he was sometimes a Pantheist, sometimes an Atheist, sometimes a Dualist. Ultimately I would say that Spinoza was a Naturalist, with an affection for spirituality, and whose idea of G-D was similar to some of the Native American Indian's notions of a Great Spirit. On a strictly ethical basis his views are almost identical to my own.
