me

I am a Scientologist. It has been helpful to me and have observed Scientology to be helpful to others. Scientology is a body of knowledge within an area. Its critics don't understand the area it addresses nor how one man's writing can be knowledge. Its critics don't understand that you would study knowledge to understand your own personal knowledge. L. Ron Hubbard did that. He published his personal results and the results that others got by his methods and called it Scientology. My professions have included electronics, housepainting, maintenance and managing apartments.

My inspiration for writing comes from Issac Asimov. That guy could read and understand what he read. Then he could apply logic with what he understood. And that led him to understand independently. Then he wrote about that. The point I'm making is that Issac didn't depend on university degrees or the opinion of others. He read it, he understood it, he thought and sometimes realized newly. Then he wrote that. One example is his prediction of rings around our gas giant planets (Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune) long before their discovery. Without a university degree, he read and understood. Then he wrote his logic down, complete with its attendant math and published it. I think that shows courage.

Supporting this idea that a person can, of their own volition, understand things and publish them without needing the agreement of other people or universities, I find L. Ron Hubbard inspirational, also.

Speaking of psychiatry, the United States Supreme Court has stated: "a psychiatrist or psychologist is no more qualified than any other person to give an opinion about whether a particular defendant's mental condition satisfies the legal test for insanity." [1] This astounding statement after the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights [2] filed a friend of the court document giving clear, documented explanation of psychiatry "mental disorders"(PDF format) Note: This PDF may be the best layman's explanation that can be found about "mental disorders".
