I meant Jaron Lanier...not Steven...Steven is another chap I knew whose hair style was similar to Lanier's.
PS: would there be an interest in an article on the NYUGAT periodical that my grandfather co-founded, and which is in Ency. Brittanica??? Of course, I would write original text and cite sources beyond those of Brittanica?
- I don't know about interest but why don't you just write it. Enjoyed our chat. FJB 17:11, 30 Nov 2005 (EST)
- Hi FJB: I worked hard this night and put together this one on the NYUGAT... I know it needs a little editing here and there... I tried to balance the strictures of encyclopedic writing with the need to make it interesting to a non-Hungarian... Not an easy task, I must say. As per self-promotion: because of my being the grandson of one of its founders I found it fair game to point this and related facts out. I also feel that this is alright, as a form of non-monetary compensation for my time/efforts. As per the request for authorship mention by article users: I think this too is only fair under the circumstances.-Mr.Infinity 09:52, 1 Dec 2005 (EST)
OK, now translate it into Hungarian. FJB 16:12, 1 Dec 2005 (EST)
- Will do. Ofcourse, as you probably know my first language is English and much of translation/interpretation work has been Hungarian to English, not the reverse. So Kathy, my native Hungarian wife, will help out a bit when we have the opportunity. Probably 4 to 6 days. I am also interested in doing the following entries Exobiology (a.k.a. Astrobiology;
1980s Subculture in New York City (not the working title); and a few other ideas....for now.-Mr.Infinity 20:38, 1 Dec 2005 (EST)
- FJB: As you will note I have dotted the 'i's and crossed the 't's with regards to my biographical mention on Wikinfo. As one gentleman to a greater one, I give you my solemn promise that I am, at any time, able to furnish all evidence required to substantiate the practically every statement made in my entry and I am willing to make a statement on oath as to the veracity of what I have written. If need be, write to me a postal address (via my personal e-mail address at jpaf64@yahoo.com or via admin@infinitysociety.org and I will send copies of articles, a copy of both my books, and whatever else you may deem necessary in order to prove to doubters the truthfulness of it all.
I hope you like the entry on Astropsychology, which could definitely use some editing. Yours, respectfully, Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo-Mr.Infinity 05:59, 2 Dec 2005 (EST)
Hi, btw, you don't need to make lot's a small edits here, as conflicts are rare. It floods recent changes and histories with essentially minor edits, when it could just be one or two major edits. Otherwise, welcome to Wikinfo :) -proteus 12:21, 2 Dec 2005 (EST)

Neo-Con Agenda
I took the liberty to rename your article to the Liberal/Left Critique of the Neo-Con Agenda. I hope this works for you.WHEELER 18:16, 18 Sep 2006 (EDT)

- How was I? On hindsight I think I could have formulated my question(s) better. Besides, I was a bit nervous, with Zbignieuw Brezsinszky there, among other historic persons.-Mr.Infinity 20:26, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
On Wikipedia
I agree with your assessement totally. But I was persecuted by British republicans who couldn't stomach the truth and the vacuoussness of their position. My Classical definition of republic did not go over well there. I find a particular anti-Spartan, ant-Doric, sentiment over there as well. There is a lot of censorship over there. I am happy for Wikinfo. I have a home here without persecution or censorship.
I urge you to work hard for Wikinfo. We need editors here. Forget Wikipedia!WHEELER 20:16, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
- Thanks and will follow your advice through and through...-Mr.Infinity 20:21, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
- I don't understand why Wikinfo is not growing! I mean it is better here. One side can write an article and the other side can write their own article. There is no need to fight. Even original research is allowed here!!! I mean Wikinfo is supremely superior to anything at Wikipedia. With these rules here at Wikinfo there is NO need for cabals. No one can control anything!!! Fred has done excellent in setting this place up!!! Welcome Home!WHEELER 20:35, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
- True enough... The thing is, word-of-mouth is an uphill battle versus the kind of publicity, free, bartered and paid-for, that Wikipedia gets. But, of course, you already know that. What perhaps you do not know is that we, Wikinfonians, could put together our own publicity and media campaign with virtually no budget at all! I have ideas about this, but even at Wikinfo I respect the need to have my novel ideas filtered by Proteus and FRED. Interested? (rhetorically speaking...)-Mr.Infinity 20:41, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
- Yes! I already do advertising for the site. I post the "Classical definition of republic" all over the place. It has received over 5000 hits but it seems no one has joined to edit though. Sad. Wikipedia has a sort of momentum with it. I hesitated to come over here because it was such a low traffic site but I am now here for the long term and my goal is to beat Wikipedia with a better and much more thorough product. - When I took a few courses in Communications Arts & Sciences, which included advertising techniques, I learned how important it is to use the right, exact, subtle, almost imperceptible, almost subliminal phrasing, catch-words and images. Perhaps it's just a matter of the packaging. Even Bull's dung can be sold for profit if the packaging is clever enough! Except, alas!, Wikinfo is at the very opposite quality of Bull's dung!-Mr.Infinity 20:52, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)

By the way WHEELER, how can I reduce a picture I wish to place on my page?-Mr.Infinity 20:52, 15 Oct 2006 (EDT)
- I don't know how others do it. I use a third party software, IfranView [1] for example, which is free. It allows a "resizing" or a "resampling" that will change the size of the viewed picture or change the density of its picture elements while resizing it. That one takes a little use to become familar with, but has proven quite helpful on my desktop. Terryeo 12:15, 6 August 2007 (EDT)
