His full name is listed on Wikipedia, so I thought it would be okay. Anyway you are right that it doesn't matter either way. Zordrac 12:10, 11 August 2007 (EDT)

Okay. Terryeo 12:15, 11 August 2007 (EDT)

Yes, it is the Citizendium version that I wrote. I can give you a link to it if you like. I asked them to delete it because they started to change it in to a factually inaccurate version. It is heavily sourced. Please restore it. [1] Zordrac 01:26, 12 August 2007 (EDT)

I see. Terryeo 01:46, 12 August 2007 (EDT)

I don't see any question marks. Zordrac 14:41, 13 August 2007 (EDT)

Okay I see the question marks. That was imported over a year ago. Oh, and how do I turn off e-mail notification of user talk page changes? I am finding that quite annoying at the moment. Zordrac 01:04, 14 August 2007 (EDT)

Above the tabs at the top of a page appears my preferences. That's the menu you want. Terryeo 09:20, 14 August 2007 (EDT)

I am happy with this version [2] It includes everything that Grace Note has said, but puts it in to perspective. Zordrac 11:59, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Okay, I understand. Terryeo 12:19, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

more about Wikipedia Review

Why this edit[3]? I think this is apropos to the article, which has already been edited to submerge this valid criticism of WR. --Gorgonzola 11:57, 21 August 2007 (EDT)

Mr. Gorgonzola, my reason for making that edit was that it contained personal sorts of information about the people mentioned. I am trying to keep it below the level of personal identity as much as possible. "Canadian trip" and "so-and-so meets so-and-so in Canada (who is really so-and-so)". Go right ahead an put it back together, but please keep it below the level where everyone could figure out real world identification, ok? That's why I removed that information. To minimize personal, real world, identification. (except of course where a person actually announces their identification). Terryeo 08:39, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
OK, but what about the numerous references to the supposed real life identities of editors in the Wikipedia Review articles? Shouldn't they be taken out? They are far worse than this one.--Gorgonzola 13:04, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
That is a very good question and one I have asked myself. I chose to keep the article as free as possible of real world identities. But User:FJB is the authority and I'll comply with his direction. Terryeo 16:34, 25 August 2007 (EDT)
No real world identities are listed in the Wikinfo article about Wikipedia Review, nor should they be. Furthermore, if it is a "supposed" real world identity, then it is not as bad as a confirmed real world identity, as I am sure you will agree. Grace Note for example went by the fake name Freddy Vessant, based on the Irish Phonetic Alphabet joke "F for Vessant" meaning "Effervesence", combined with "F for Freddy" which is a common saying in Wheel of Fortune, hence making "Freddy Vessant", the fake name. He protested vehemently that it was his name, but its not. Do a google search on it. Do any kind of a search on it. Its a fake name. It can't hurt you to reveal someone's fake identity. It can hurt you to reveal someone's real identity. Zordrac 18:26, 25 August 2007 (EDT)
That makes sense, Mr. Zordrac. Terryeo 06:23, 26 August 2007 (EDT)
It is the height of hypocrisy to "out" Wikipedia editors and not do the same with Wikipedia Review editors. There has to be consistency. The explanation you've introduced for this inconsistency frankly makes no sense to me.--Gorgonzola 14:00, 28 August 2007 (EDT)
Hmmmm. I guess I don't understand what "out Wikipedia editors" and not "out Wikipedia Review editors" means, exactly. In fact, I'm sure I don't understand what you mean at all. I do get it that you are pointing at an inconsitancy, but I haven't a clue what you are talking about in reference to your unspecified inconsistancy. Terryeo 00:31, 29 August 2007 (EDT)
I removed the "outing" reference that troubled me in Broad criticisms of Wikipedia. Note my edit there. Will do the same thing in the Wikipedia Review criticisms article to make consistent. --Gorgonzola 17:14, 29 August 2007 (EDT)

Vandalism thru open proxy

The user you just blocked, 190.7.62.202, is thru 'open proxy'. Ban him infinitely. Use this website, http://www.arin.net/index.shtml, to check. The guy is just a malicious vandal, childish, and mean-spirited. Vandalism is what children do.WHEELER 10:26, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

In response is how to know, if it is from a library or other place with multiple computers, I believe the Arin database will show that it is from a library or a specific place. If a person continues to vandalism and we block him for a day or two and continues, then we can notify that place and they can deal with the person. But when you see that the Arin database comes back with a whole range of numbers or sections of numbers not addressed that means that the vandall is using a software that searches for free IP addresses and then uses one of those addresses in moving random selection so he can vandalize without being traced. That is the difference. I hope this explains it.WHEELER 10:50, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

User:Gorgonzola aka User:Grace Note using Wikinfo as a smear campaign

I do not know what Wikinfo's policy is about abusing multiple accounts, but Gorgonzola aka Grace Note is doing this to pretend that he has more support than he really does, in order to run a smear campaign that nobody has ever believed aside from Grace Note. He has been proven false many times, but continues to add in false articles, with real names, that are designed to bring serious real life problems. He has gone so far as to not only not allow me to edit the Wikipedia Review and holocaust denial subpage so that it includes factual information, but he has also added false information in the response to that page, Broad Criticisms of Wikipedia Review. If no true page exists about it, then what is the point? He won't even allow a section called "Responses to Criticisms" to exist, and vandalises that section with false information.

Now I know that I would ban him, and all of his sock puppets, but its up to you. If you feel that his behaviour can be remedied, and that there is something valid to his running a smear campaign against me, then that's your decision. Zordrac 02:25, 17 September 2007 (EDT)

The above user has been going berserk, vandalizing Grace Note's user page by redirecting to mine, and generally foaming at the mouth. The core issue is that Wikiscanner is not being currently discussed on Wikipedia Review. Either he should prove otherwise or STFU at long last. He has spammed the above on several talk pages so I am going to have to respond identically. This user is not running Wikipedia Review here and he needs to behave.--Gorgonzola 18:36, 17 September 2007 (EDT)

Wikinfo:Edittools

Please don't move pages from the Mediawiki namespace into the Wikinfo namespace. They are system messages and display, in this case, every time you edit. I thought we had a bug... Fred 09:16, 22 November 2007 (EST)

Opps, okay. I won't do that. Terryeo 19:58, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Communism

I hope you don't mind but I undeleted this. There are well over 300 links to it; it was massively the top entry in the Wanted pages list.--User:Taxwoman 08:00, 25 January 2008 (EST)
