Will Dockery 02:36, 14 May 2008 (EDT)Hi, welcome to Wikinfo. Should there be any doubt, here, there is no comic or creator of a comic which would be considered not notable. You may, if you wish, write an article about yourself. Fred Talk 07:18, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

The Dockerys
I'm thinking of deleting all the rubbish below, or perhaps keeping it for reference in the case that it happens again to someone else, where it could cut down on future discussion in such a situation. Will Dockery 11:05, 17 May 2008 (EDT)
You know... I'd leave it here for now. These things do end up being useful, and you can always archive the page if it gets too full. --AaronCarson 16:50, 18 May 2008 (EDT)
Stop now
I do not appreciate you having stolen my identity on yet ANOTHER forum. If this keeps up I shall have to consider legal action against you. Cease now and I shall "forgive and forget," as it were. --William Dockery 22:58, 12 May 2008 (EDT)
Heh... so there really /is/ a "Dockery Doppelgänger" Will Dockery 01:49, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
For the record
All joking aside, for the record, this new user calling itself William Dockery is an imposter using my name for malicious intentions. Will Dockery 11:40, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
- Incorrect. *I* am the real Will Dockery, and I can prove it by writing a poem. Because everyone knows that I, the real Will Dockery, never write unspeakable shit that causes people pain the moment they begin reading it. I'm a genius! And I will prove so by posting a poem. If this doppleganger of mine decides to continue this behavior I shall have no choice but to sue him for libel. --William Dockery 22:17, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
At the very least, this other William Dockery has violated the SPOV policy of Wikinfo with his revisions, vandalism, really, of my Will Dockery profile and posting my photo in the idiot entry. These can be seen in the recent changes archives. No doubt there's several people named Will Dockery, and perhaps this is one of them, but trashing my profile is inappropriate here, I'm pretty sure you'll agree, Fred. I haven't read into the archives about what ya'll do here about this sort of vandalism, but it would be unbelievable to imagine something like this hasn't happened before. Will Dockery 02:36, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
- You can set your email address in your preferences. Click on "my preferences" at the top of the page. If he is not the real Will Dockery, and you are not an idiot impersonating him, we'll block him. Fred Talk 07:15, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
Done. Will Dockery 11:29, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
Hi Will, thanks for your message. I can't speak for Fred but personally, I'm not so concerned about who the real Will Dockery is. What struck me about the dispute between you and William, was that you managed to maintain a civil tone in your responses and he didn't. Civility is a big part of what we're about here on Wikinfo and I expressed as much to Fred, but I'm leaving the final decision in his hands as he seems to have already taken an interest. --AaronCarson 16:32, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
For advice on how to deal with this type of unpleasantness I suggest you log into Google and search for, "Cyberbullying". Proxima Centauri 17:10, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

I've had trouble too. It wasn't as bad as what you had. I've changed my username because of threats to stalk me online. Proxima Centauri 17:43, 15 May 2008 (EDT) Proxima Centauri 17:43, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
Uncyclopedia
It's Uncyclopedia. Better not to put them off by using the wrong spelling.Proxima Centauri 11:33, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks... I don't know much about Uncyclopedia yet, besides the ill-fated Parnello's Pizza shenanigans.Will Dockery 12:30, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- You could try contacting the anti cyberbullying Websites and asking for advice. They know what to do better than I do. Proxima Centauri 17:29, 21 May 2008 (EDT)

Since that poster is now on the main page it's important that those cyberbullies don't mess with your user page linked to it. If you want to edit your user page please PM me or other Admins. I'll unprotect your userpage any time I'm logged in here if you would like to edit it. I'll protect it again afterwards. Proxima Centauri 13:24, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
- Sure, see my comment on your talk page. Will Dockery 14:52, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
Your poetry
I’ve added links to your poetry in the Will Dockery article and in Poets’ Corner. Your poems are certainly good enough for this web site. I can’t upload them myself as they are copyright to you. If you want to post your poems here and also want to keep the copyright please ask Fred Bauder how this can be done. Fred Bauder is a retired lawyer. Proxima Centauri 02:57, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks, I'm thinking of experimenting with some public domain poetry here... perhaps we could create a round robin poem there, those are great fun sitting with friends in coffeehouses. One person jots a line on a napkin and passes it around, each person adding a line, and around... or here, one person writes, say, a sonnet and the other poets edit it back and forth. - No problem, they're gone... I'll replace the one of Henry F. Conley with a photo of him I own. Will Dockery 13:40, 30 May 2008 (EDT)

Okay, I've deleted the A Mighty Wind still from the article, and the Henry F. Conley photo of his first record cover should be fine, since I have his permission, he's an old friend and co-worker in music and art with me for the last decade of so. Plus, I had confirmation from Fred somewhere here that material like this is fair use, anyway, as I understand it. A discussion on what is and isn't usuable, exactly, would be welcome here, though, since the Wikipedia image purge obviously has taken such a concept to the extreme. Will Dockery 14:02, 30 May 2008 (EDT)
- Well, I don't want to be extreme - it's just that you should give some copyright information on the photos you upload in their description. - Mr Mancala 03:30, 31 May 2008 (EDT)
- Oh yeah, I see... I'll do some looking around to see the standard on this and adapt my approach. Will Dockery 04:52, 31 May 2008 (EDT)

Hello folks
I've been gone a long while, but hope to get more involved again... am interested in seeing what's been happening here while I was away!
