History
Visible.net Inc, was founded in 2004 as an e-commerce software and technology firm that specializes in building simple to use solutions for e-commerce merchants, entrepreneurs and other Online sellers. In 2004 the company set out on a campaign to re-brand and re-develop their complete solution from the ground up, to be released mid-year 2008. On May 1, 2008 the official Visible.net website was launched [1] with an emphasis on the three core functions of the company, e-commerce technology, online marketing services and customer satisfaction. Visible.net is a privately-held company with corporate office headquarters located just outside of Seattle, in Redmond, Washington. To date, Visible.net has received no outside funding or venture capital, making for a more stand-alone company capable of offering more flexible solutions in a faster period of time.

Visible.net is considered an e-commerce software developer first and provider of online marketing services second. Their cart software is currently featured as one of roughly 50 capable of providing Google Checkout out-of-the-box.
