Wikinfo:Dead external links

External links used as external resources or references are sometimes moved or removed from their previous urls. This is especially true of newspaper articles, other than The New York Times. Wikipedia claims this also happens to Yahoo! news story links, which seemingly deprecate quick. Another example is Google cache.

Such articles often can only be accessed through a service such as Archive.org.

Other less wanted services are Nexus, which has maintained a copy in archives but charges a substantial fee, and free resources like Google cache (although it breaks on random sweeps too).
