Willa Cather

Willa Sibert Cather (Born December 7, 1873 in Back Creek Valley, Virginia United States - died April 24, 1947 in New York City) was one of the preeminent female American authors.
Willa Cather won the Pulitzer Prize in 1923 for her book One of Ours (1922) and for her 1927 book, Death Comes for the Archbishop, in 2001 the book would be named as one of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century by the editorial board of the American Modern Library.
