GetWiki (GetWiki.net) is interactive PHP/MySQL collaboration software for Wiki-powered websites. As the overview explains, GetWiki introduces XML import of individual articles from any other Wiki-site offering XML export. GetWiki also uses XHTML and CSS document and accessibility standards and high content security features.

GetWiki is also a Wiki with Positive Point of View articles at GetWiki.net. It is a collaboration website focused on diverse intellectual topics, from Philosophy to Technology, Humanities and Sciences, including interactive applications like SOHOdb and GetWiki, and many other subjects. The Wiki is also a combination of technical support and discussion forum for the GetWiki collaboration software and interwiki theory in general, and sports the same features deployed on all GetWiki Wikis, such as XML import(1) of individual articles, with XHTML and CSS document and accessibility standards.

The GetWiki software was first released in January, 2004 by M.R.M. Parrott, philosopher and novelist, and developer of SOHOdb and other applications. The software was partially released under a Creative Commons License for the images and some of the code. The intention was to add an XML import function for Wikipedia's export feature, but the resulting application emerged through numerous customizations and new directions. The current stable release of GetWiki is 1.0, and 2.0 is underway.

Wikinfo used GetWiki for several years, but abandoned it as it became incompatible with MediaWiki.
