Galena Avenue was the historical business district of Crestone. It is an plated street 80 feet wide which runs west to east in the center of town.

A county road continues west from town boundary which, after turning north, terminates at the Crestone Cemetery. A 4 wheel drive track continues to the north which goes, in addition to other places, San Isabel Creek.
